ABOUT THE BLANKET

  

Can I have photographs on each side of my TK Photo Blankets?

No. TK Photo Blankets are knitted with a photograph showing on one side only

 

Can I use more than one photograph for my TK Photo Blankets?

Yes, however note that TK Photo Blankets are best with one specific image occupying minimum 70% of the picture. There are additional setup fees to your order to design your blanket with more than one photograph. 

Will my photograph be an 'iron-on' transfer OR silk-screened OR printed?

No. Your photograph will be set through a special design process. This process entails taking your photograph and processing it right onto the weave of the blanket through a special technique that is exclusive to TK Photo Blankets.  

What kind of fabric is used with your blankets?

The Original PT Photo Blankets collection is currently manufactured using the highest quality of ultra soft Acrylic yarn (non-allergenic). The TK Photo Blanket is manufactured using an exquisite mercerized heirloom quality cotton  

Cleaning & Maintenance.  What is the best way to keep it clean?

We suggest the first thing you do when you receive your blanket is to wrap yourself and enjoy because we have already washed it for you. Should it get dirty over time, machine wash in cold water and Air or tumble dry, gentle cycle. And of course, you should never use bleach when washing this product.     

QUESTIONS ABOUT photographs (ONLINE vs. MAILING in)

 Is my photo good enough?You can ensure a beautiful Photo Blanket if the object of your photo:

◦occupies minimum 50-80% of the space of the entire photograph (i.e. face closeup)

◦is markedly different in color/contrast from the background of photo (i.e. a black dog on a black sofa will produce a straight black blanket) 

How many photographs/people/pets can be on a blanket?

Digital Picture/Scanning File Requirements

(only scans from traditional photopaper are acceptable.  Scans reproduced from laser, inkjet, or other types of reproduction will be rejected)

Your photograph can be either Color or B&W....this has no effect on your photo blanket.  (Unless you are ordering a colored photo blanket and send a B&W photo, your blanket would be B&W.)

 Will my photo be altered?

Your photograph may require creative cropping and composition in order to make a beautiful Photo Blanket.

 

 

Is there anything I need to know about mailing in the picture?

Yes. Use only a Post Office approved photo-mailer to ensure proper care of your photograph during delivery. Note that we recommend you have your photograph image scanned locally at your local photo store and upload the digital image file to our website. Photo Blanket And You Blankets and Walker Sales is not responsible for photographs lost or damaged in transit to or from our production facilities and cannot be held liable in any way.

 

Are there any photograph requirements for originals mailed in?

Please submit photos no larger than a regular 8"x10" photo and no smaller than a wallet size photo. Please make sure your main subject in the photograph occupies minimum 70% of the photograph.  

Can I send you a digital enlargement I did at home on my photo quality inkjet printer ?

No!. Photo Blanket And You does NOT accept prints made from a home printer (inkjet or otherwise).  

Will files from digital cameras make a nice blanket?

It depends. Most digital cameras have different "file size" settings. Take your pictures on the largest file size or highest quality settings. Three megapixel files will make a great Photo Blanket.   If you have a smaller megapixel camera however, we recommend you have your photograph image printed locally at your local photo store and then professionally scanned for upload to our website.  

Can I use any photograph I want?

All submitted photos must be of your own private property. Any photographs with copyrights must have been obtained with legal permission from the owner. Please see Terms of Service and Conditions of Use for further information.

Will I receive my printed photograph(s) back?

Photo Blanket And You will be happy to return you photographs if you include a self-addressed stamped Post Office approved photo-mailer within your order for return mail. There are no other means for Photo Blanket And You to return your photographs, as returning photographs is not part of the Photo Blanket And You service.  

About your order

How long does it take?

All orders are estimated to complete production within ten (10) business days / two weeks from when an acceptable photograph is received. Please add shipping time over and above the ten business (10) days / two weeks. Please note that for specific holidays (Mother's Day, Christmas), cutoff times will vary up to between fifteen (15) and thirty (30) business days before last possible shipping date.  

How will I know that you received my order?

You must provide an e-mail address at the time of your order (online or on your mail-in order form) of which Photo Blanket And You, Walker Sales, will send a confirmation of your order. 

How can I check the status of my order?

Just click on the track order tab on this web site, enter you order number and check your order history.    

How will I know that you shipped my order?

You must provide an e-mail address at the time of your order (online or on your mail-in order form) of which Photo Blanket And You, Walker Sales, will send a confirmation when we ship your order.  This will include a Tracking number so that you can track at any time.   

Can I order more than 1 blanket at a time and send them to different recipients?

If you are ordering online, just follow the instructions when ordering and you will be prompted as to where each blanket should go. If you are ordering via the mail, please follow the instructions on the Order Form and please include a separate sheet of paper listing the addresses of where you would like each order sent.  

Returns & Refunds

 

Is there a refund?

Due to the personalization of this service, we do not offer any refunds. All sales are final.  

What happens if there is a defect?

We take great pride in the production of each Photo Blanket And You order. However, in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect in your Photo Blanket, just call us within 7 days of receiving it, return your unwanted item, and we will remake it free of charge plus shipping and handling. 

I gave the wrong spelling of the name? Is there recourse ?

Misspelled names or incorrect information does not qualify for any type of refund or remanufacturing. Remanufacturing will be performed at your expense.   

General Shipping Questions

 

How does my blanket get delivered?

Orders are sent UPS Ground direct or FedX to your doorstep or the address you indicated upon checkout.

 

Can you guarantee delivery on exact dates?

No. Due to the many details that go into producing your Photo Blanket, we cannot guarantee an exact date for delivery. 

It has been over 4 weeks and I haven't received my order?

This may be due to the demand of services. Kindly contact us at Customer Service to check on the progress of your Photo Blanket. 

Do you accept international orders and ship internationally?

We now offer overseas shipping. 

PAYMENT INFORMATION

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

 CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Mastercard credit and Discover cards.  CHECKS:

If writing a personal check please make it payable to WALKER SALES.  All personal checks will need to be cleared with the bank in order for the production of your blanket to begin. Please note that paying by check does slow down your order somewhat, as we do not manufacture your item until your funds clear. It typically takes two to three weeks for us to receive and process checks or money orders, and about one month to receive and process international checks or money orders.

Note : returned check fee of fifty-five (55.00) dollars or a maximum returned check fee permissible by law. CASH: Please do not send cash in the mail for your own security. 

Will my order be taxed?

At this time we charge only ND Taxes to items shipped within ND.  At this time other State taxes do not apply.
